Samoa will host the 2nd Biennial Pacific Week of Agriculture (PWA) from the 30th September to 4th October 2019 in partnership with the Pacific Community (SPC) and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO).

 

An intensive week of meetings, workshops and displays will highlight the PWASAMOA2019 theme: “Enhanced Partnerships for Sustainable Agriculture and Forestry Systems in the Pacific”.

 

Two key regional agriculture forums will take place within the PWA at the Samoa Conference Center, Apia.

1. Special Session of the Heads of Agriculture and Forestry Services (HOAFS), organized by the SPC.
2. Ministers of Agriculture and Forestry Meeting (MOAF), jointly organized by FAO and SPC.
